Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, share and protect personal information. Last updated 19 September 2026.

Review before launch. This policy was drafted to reflect how the site and our recruitment process actually work, and to track US state privacy laws including the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act and the California Consumer Privacy Act. It is not legal advice. Have counsel review it, confirm the retention periods and the appeal process, and register the effective date before publication.

1. Who we are

JSP IT Services (“JSP”, “we”, “us”) provides IT staffing augmentation and software development services from 12800 Westridge Blvd, Suite 200, Frisco, TX 75035, United States. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. This policy covers jspitservices.com and our recruitment and client-enquiry processes. It does not cover the separate websites of our clients or partners.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit an enquiry we collect your name, email address, company, the nature of your enquiry and anything else you write in your message. When you apply for a role we collect your name, contact details, location, links you provide (such as LinkedIn or a CV link), your stated work authorisation status, availability, and the contents of your CV and any correspondence.

Information collected automatically. If you accept analytics cookies we collect usage data through Google Analytics 4: pages and sections viewed, time spent, approximate location derived from your IP address, referring site, and device and browser type. If you decline, these cookies are not set and this data is not collected. Our hosting provider also processes server logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability.

Information from other sources. We may receive candidate information from job boards, professional networks, referrals, and — with your knowledge — from referees you nominate.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as government identifiers, financial account details, health information or demographic characteristics through this website. Please do not include such information in a message or CV. Where an engagement later requires it, we will collect it separately with appropriate safeguards.

3. How we use information

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide the services you request
  • To assess your suitability for a role, contact you about it, and put your candidacy forward to a client with your agreement
  • To consider you for other roles we believe fit your experience, until you ask us to stop
  • To administer, secure and improve the website
  • To understand which parts of the site are useful, where we have your consent to analytics
  • To comply with legal, tax and regulatory obligations
  • To establish, exercise or defend legal claims

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects. A person reviews every application.

4. If you are a candidate

Recruitment involves sharing your details outside JSP. We will share your CV and profile with a client only for a role you have agreed to be submitted for. We tell you which client before we submit you. Clients act as independent controllers of the information we pass to them and their own privacy notices apply.

We keep candidate records for 24 months from our last meaningful contact with you, so that we can approach you about suitable roles, after which we delete or anonymise them. If you are placed through us, we retain records for the duration of the engagement and for as long as afterwards as employment, tax and limitation periods require. You can ask us to delete your details at any time by emailing hr@jsp-its.com.

5. Cookies and analytics

The site sets no analytics cookies until you choose “Accept” in the banner. If you accept, Google Analytics 4 sets cookies that measure visits and engagement. We have enabled IP anonymisation and disabled Google advertising and personalisation signals, so the data is not used to build advertising profiles.

You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser, which restores the banner. You can also install Google’s opt-out browser add-on. Strictly necessary storage used to remember your cookie choice is not optional, because without it we cannot honour that choice.

We honour the Global Privacy Control signal. Where your browser sends it, we treat it as an opt-out of any sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising.

6. When we share information

  • Clients — candidate profiles, for roles you have agreed to be considered for
  • Service providers — our website host, our form delivery provider (Web3Forms), Google Analytics, and our email and business systems, each processing on our instructions
  • Professional advisers — lawyers, auditors and insurers where necessary
  • Authorities — where required by law, or to protect our rights, safety or property
  • A successor — if our business is sold or reorganised, subject to this policy

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We have not done so in the preceding twelve months.

7. Security and retention

We use access controls, encryption in transit, and vendor review appropriate to a business of our size, and we limit access to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep enquiry records for up to 24 months, candidate records as described in section 4, and client engagement records for as long as the relationship and applicable legal periods require.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live — including under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended — you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold and obtain a copy
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete information we hold about you
  • Obtain your information in a portable format
  • Opt out of targeted advertising, sale of personal information, or profiling with significant effects — none of which we carry out
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

To exercise a right, email contact@jsp-its.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We will verify your identity, usually by confirming details we already hold, and respond within 45 days. We may extend this once where the request is complex, and will tell you if we do. An authorised agent may act for you with written permission we can verify.

Appeals. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with “Privacy appeal” in the subject line. We will respond in writing within 60 days explaining our reasoning. If we deny your appeal, you may contact the Texas Attorney General, or the privacy regulator for your state, to submit a complaint.

9. Children

The site is intended for business users and job seekers aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Where your information is held

We operate in the United States and our service providers store information on servers in the United States. If you contact us from another country, you understand your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your own country.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. We will change the “last updated” date above, and for material changes we will give prominent notice on the site. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
